Viair 280C COMPRESSOR ***COMPLETE*** kit. This kit has everything you need to completely restore the functionality of your 280C compressor.

***Kit does not come with upper reed valve plate / saddle plate inside the head. Must use the old reed valve plate inside the new head.***

Please contact us if you have an older model air compressor without the notches inside the compressor head.

Viair 280C Complete rebuild kit will come with Brand New Piston & connecting rod with bearing , counter weight and set screw, Cylinder Wall, Replacement head, Carbon brush assembly, Replacement filter elements, direct air inlet housing, stainless steel braided hose with inbuilt check valve, Vibration isolators for compressor mounting feet.

NOTE: - Please note that this rebuild kit is only for new style head with two slots /notches inside the head for the Saddle plate with two tabs on them. Please verify your head style before ordering this PN. One slot is bigger than the other slot.

NOTE : Do not force cylinder wall direct on the piston. This will damage the piston ring.

Kit Includes :

  • Piston & Connecting rod Teflon piston ring sealed bearing, counter weight & set screw
  • Cylinder wall kit with gasket / O'Rings
  • Replacement head with gasket/seal & 4 new bolts ***Does not come with upper reed valve plate / saddle plate, must use the old reed valve plate inside new head***
  • Carbon brush assembly with thermal overload protector
  • 1/4" NPT Stainless steel braided leader hose with inbuilt check valve.
  • 5 pack of replacement filter elements
  • Direct Air inlet housing.
  • Replacement Vibration Isolators - set of 4
Important Notes & Instructions: -

***Piston seal is not available by itself, comes as complete unit with connecting rod, bearing & set screw***
*** Use a non - permanent thread sealant on new set screw to make sure piston does not move on motor shaft***
*** Do not over tighten the head bolts or the leader hose. Over tightening may cause a crack in the head, bolts may shear off ***
*** Do not force carbon brush assembly directly on the compressor motor shaft, use flat head screw driver to pry / slide carbon brushes away from motor shaft to have clearance around the motor shaft.***
*** Air Compressor must be installed in well ventilated area to protect against fire hazard. These are dry air compressor, will heat up to 158 - 165 degree F.****
